70th cycling themed card

It's that awkward moment when you're asked to make a card on a certain theme and you know you have nothing in your stash that is going to work! I did manage to do some rough drawing (which I have to say isn't great) and managed to make this. Not too bad for someone who can't draw to save their life.

100th birthday card

I was asked to make a 100th birthday card by a family member.

I had to put a lot of thought into this one as I wasn't entirely sure what kind of card you made for someone turning 100!

In the end I settled on simple, classic design.

Just hope that she likes it.

I used a lot three different papers from the fairyopolis paper pack. I absolutely love the backing paper, it has to be my favourite.

Flower Faerie card

Flower Faeries card. Had the base of the card, added a decoupaged faerie, some ribbon and the greeting, plus I had the flower faerie rub ons so added a couple of them too. Very quick and pretty card to make.

Humphrey's corner card

Another Humphrey's corner card, this time an easel card. I've left the greeting off so I can add it at a later date when I need a quickly done hand made card. Anyone else keep a draw of cards without the greetings on them for occasions when you forget or its all very last minute?

Crafter's Companion Monthly Challenge

Card made using the Humphrey's corner everyday die cut decoupage. Made for the Crafter's companion monthly challenge. (A little late for me this month).

This month is challenge 21 anything goes (and I can't resist an adorable Humphrey's corner card. This will probably be given to either my dad or step-dad on fathers day from my little girl.

Dinosaur quilt

Layout all figured out for my beautiful dinosaur quilt! Just got to cut the fabric and sew it all together! Absolutely stunning fabrics though! Can't wait to see it finished!

Birthday celebrations!

I have just about recovered from Jessie's 3rd birthday (the party at least) and thought that I would share a few of my creations. Firstly pink cupcakes with edible glitter! I was fairly impressed with myself about how well these turned out! They were a big hit! It did take four batches of cake mix and a whole day but it was worth it.

The jelly was just pretty but still I was proud of it. Finally was the birthday cake! However I can take no credit for the cake, a friend's mum made it for my little girl. It was just so beautiful that I had to share it. Jessie absolutely loved it. I can't believe she's three!!!
